This year JAW has joined forces with Society of Anaesthetists of Wales and Paediatric Anaesthetic Group Wales to bring you a 2 day conference, to be held at the Village Hotel, Cardiff.
Thursday will be hosted by JAW and includes talks from Dr Andy Klein (editor in chief of Anaesthesia, consultant anaesthetist from Papworth), Dr Jen Warren (Anaesthetic trainee, winner of 2 medals at the invictus games!), trainee talks (including the now world famous fatigue work from Dr McLelland and Dr Holland ;) ) , a trauma update and the opportunity to attend the deanery forum or a talk about how to get into anaesthetics for any keen medical students/junior doctors looking for tips on getting into training.
Friday will see PAGW take the reins for a more paediatric slant on proceedings, as well as a guest appearance from Dr Liam Brennan (President of RCOA). There will also be the trainee competition (sadly its not a hunger games themed fight to the death, just some oral presentations ).
